Barry,
Words to describe you, (apart from the ones I can't put on here ;) You were Fun, Charming, Quirky, Unique, loveable, A True charismatic showman!
Barry greeted the patients with the utmost respect, with his quick witted comments and his wicked sense of humour, it wasn't long before he had them all wrapped around his little finger and roaring with laughter, that it generally turned into, at times, a scene from a comedy sketch.
His love for music was obvious, he would go off to lunch with his ear phones in, listening to his latest tunes, and reading a book, all while eating a packet of crisps.
This was also a lot like his sunglasses, he was never without them. He wore his Rayban's with pride, even in the rain, to be fair, he always pulled it off.
We were (at Kelly Eyecare) so lucky to have had Barry in our lives. A life cut so short, but loved by many, he was a perfect colleague and most definitely a friend. and because of that, we all miss him dearly.
Like the quote by JRR Tolkien
"It is not the strength of the body that counts, but the strength of the spirit"
And because of that he will never be forgotten.

Barry was always a vibrant, enigmatic and charismatic person. Extremely intelligent, charming, and with total integrity. I immensely enjoyed his company and creating music alongside him. I am so saddened by his passing, and will always remember him. Sadly due to personal reasons, I am unable to make the service tomorrow, but I will be thinking of him. RIP Bam, you will leave a massive void.
