Barry - my memories are old but never the less clear. We were at Ringwood Comp together and in many of the same classes. I guess I got to know you better when we went on to Brock College and we both had a part time job in Prestos (which is now Sainsburys). We worked on the deli - you on the bacon and me on the cheese! Wish I had a photo of you in your very uncool white coat and white hat! We had good chats when there were no customers and things were quiet and many laughs. Remember Janice?

After a while we lost touch as we weren't blessed with the social media of today but how surprised was I to walk into my opticians - Boots Lymington and see you behind the counter years later? A lovely surprise and lots to catch up on. You looked the same - same hairstyle, same jewellery - wouldn't have missed you anywhere. And of course - thanks for putting those puffs of air in my eyes! After that I saw you every 6 months when I went for a check up with Peter. 

I am sorry to say I never knew you were ill until I read the post on Continental Liaison a few weeks ago. What a shock. 

I'm sure you lived you best life and I am so sorry it was cut so horribly short.
